Hello,
I'm Humberto Perez
My love for photography began in childhood, encouraged by my father during the days of analog cameras. Over the years, I explored different styles, capturing people, moments, and portraits, but I never felt a clear artistic direction. That changed when I decided to attend a workshop in Europe. It was there that I truly discovered my passion for landscape photography.
Nature evokes a sense of fantasy, solitude, wonder, and awe: emotions that inspire my work. Through my images, I seek to express the grandiosity and beauty of the natural world and share that experience with others.
Photography has taken me across the world, from my home country of Venezuela to my current home in Florida, USA, and beyond; to Continental Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and my favorite place, Iceland. But my journey is far from over, there are still countless landscapes waiting to be captured.
I shoot with Nikon Z8 and a selection of lenses that allow me to adapt to various landscapes. My Z 24-120mm is my go-to, while the Z 14-30mm and Z 100-400mm are essential for special situations. My photography is inspired by Nigel Danson, Monish Mansharamani, Kilian Schönberger, and Thomas Eaton work, among others. Recently, I’ve been exploring drone photography, drawing inspiration from Jeroen Van Nieuwenhove. I edit my images using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, bringing my vision to life.
I created this website to invite you to travel through my photography, purchase prints, and bring a piece of the world into your home or workspace. I also offer mentoring, sharing my experience in both capturing and editing images. Whether you're just starting or looking to refine your skills, I’d love to help guide you on your own photographic journey.
Let’s explore the world together one photo at a time.
